ASME SOUTH TEXAS SECTION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Each student section in the ASME South Texas Section (STS) will be awarded two (2) $1,300 scholarships to undergraduate student members. However, each student section must submit at least three (3), but no more than five (5), candidates for consideration. The winners will be selected by the STS College Relations Committee based on scholarship, leadership, extracurricular activities, community involvement and financial need. There are no restrictions for applicants based on sex, race, nationality or country of origin.
Recipients must be currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering, engineering technology or related field, dues paid member of ASME, maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Applications are due by March 3, 2010. Winners will be notified by March 31, 2010. If selected as a recipient of the ASME STS Scholarship, the winner(s) must attend the ASME STS Awards Banquet on April 15, 2010 in order to receive the scholarship.

ASME SOUTH TEXAS SECTION - HUGH SCOTT CAMERON AWARD APPLICATION
ASME South Texas Section (STS) will be award one (1) $1,000 award to an outstanding graduate student member, pursuing an advanced degree in engineering and or related field of study. Each student section can submit one (1) candidate for consideration. The winner will be selected by the STS College Relations Committee based on scholarship, leadership, extracurricular activities, community involvement and financial need. There are no restrictions for applicants based on sex, race, nationality or country of origin.
Recipient must be currently enrolled in a graduate program, a dues paid member of ASME, maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Applications are due by March 3, 2010. The winner will be notified by March 31, 2010. If selected as a recipient of the ASME STS Hugh Scott Cameron Award, the winner must attend the ASME STS Awards Banquet on April 15, 2010 in order to receive the award.
